Lorry Mounted Crane  have been used since the 1960’s to aid in the transportations of heavy warehousing, construction and landscape materials over long distances having the versatility of being attached to a HGV (Lorry) . Counterweighted via a HGV  to allow them to hold significant loads and locate in various positions, these cranes combine a number of components to provide safety and ease of use.

tick Pre-Operational Checks: Engine Oil, Coolant, Fuel, Wheels & Tyres, Hydraulic Oil, Rams & Pipes, Controls, Brakes, Steering, Instruments, Stabilisers, Automatic Safe Load Indicator, Guards, Jib, Hooks, Slings, Attachments. Etc. TEST CERTIFICATES

tick Area/Site Checks: Assessed the risks to/from: other site personnel and vehicles – ground conditions – overhead obstructions – power lines – trees – soft verges – weather conditions etc

tick Load Safety: Weight – size – location – lifting points – distribution – loose – moving parts. Position the load safely – Check lifting equipment/attachments for serviceability
