An estimated 29 million existing buildings, both domestic and non-domestic occupied, will need retrofit work to reduce the carbon emissions required by the Net Zero project. 

This means that the additional decarbonization work will flood the construction community with an extraordinary amount of opportunities. 

However, this also means that getting people trained for these job openings will require some serious involvement from both the Government and companies that provide training for all types of construction jobs.
