A New Facility for H&E 

Just the new facility alone will allow H&E Equipment Services to up their capacity to repair, rebuild, and remanufacture Manitowoc Cranes by nearly a full 33%. It will be very easily accessible from the Mississippi, making it super simple to ship and receive very large pieces of equipment. This new facility houses two different facilities: one for structural repairs of equipment, and the other for crane remanufacturing. Each of the six different bays contains a very large capacity crane that is used to move equipment and cranes. There is even another larger capacity crane that can be used in case any of these cranes are not strong enough.

Hope for Improved Quality & Productivity

The new Belle Chasse home of H&E measures in at 3,720 square meters. It allows them to work on around 6 different cranes at once. Now, most of the work that was once done outdoors, according to the local branch manager, Frank Arthur, can be done inside. Moving remanufacturing services indoors allows the work to be completed faster and more accurately. Both the equipment, as well as workers, are kept safer.
